“It is striking how many people say that they will have more impact on the world by starting a start-up themselves, rather than working for a large organisation. The question arises as to why people feel they cannot make a difference in large organisations. Herein lies a very great challenge for the corporates.”
“Nu de terugdraaiende teller zal verdwijnen, is het voor gezinnen met zonnepanelen die al een digitale meter hebben relevanter dan ooit om hun energiecontract goed op te volgen”
#internationalwomenday: "Quotas for women in companies are necessary until the balance is reached and we no longer need them. We should not wait for the government to do that. Are you a business leader? Set your own, feasible quota, step by step."
“On National Compliment Day, we want to cast the spotlight on every start-up, because they deserve it. There are those who are currently having a very tough time. And for them, we want to offer some extra encouragement. But also to sing the praises of those start-ups that managed to grow despite the crisis, completely overturning their business models and showing extraordinary resilience in the process. They are an inspiration for the entire entrepreneurial world.”
february news flash
Another month has flashed by and so a new manley newsflash! A good occasion to look back on the first weeks of 2021. The novel c-word is still on everyone’s lips (figuratively speaking of course!) But somehow, we have managed to cope with the masks, the barrier gestures and remote working. We hate the distance, but respect the rules. And now that spring is getting closer and the days longer, that freedom we all long for will soon be here! Until then, we’re pleased to bring a little light into your mailbox with a generous serve of newsworthy news from manley.
